Based on the comic book series “Old Man Logan” about an older Wolverine, LOGAN will be (most likely) the final movie in which Hugh Jackman plays the most famous of the X-MEN team. We already saw a rather phenomenal trailer for the movie, which definitely got people talking. Today we get the final official trailer for the film, which co-stars Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Doris Morgado, Sienna Novikov, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, and Eriq La Salle. James Mangold (THE WOLVERINE) directs from a screenplay by David James Kelly and Michael Green. Take a look at the final trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
Set in the future of 2024, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is destroying the world leaving it to destruction, with Logan’s healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier’s Alzheimer’s forcing him to forget. Logan must defeat Nathaniel Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.
And here’s the red band trailer, slightly longer and with more f-bombs:

Can’t wait to see it. Looks great. Bigest mistake the franchise made was writing Rogue out of the story line. One of the most powerful mutan’s with endless possibility. The comic series made good use of the options but that has been my only disappointment in the movies.

THIS is how you close the door on a role (I’m looking at you, Harrison Ford/Indy).
One of my favorite things about reading Wolverine, way back when, was how I would get drawn into the grit and drama of the story and forget I was reading a superhero comic book. This feels very much the same. It looks like a really interesting story of life, death, aging, acceptance, and love. It just happens to have people with claws. Looking forward to it.
