Everything that was old is new again. In this age of reboots and sequels, where the big screen success of a 21 JUMP STREET reboot leads to a big budget BAYWATCH movie, it’s only a matter of time before we see all the classic TV shows that never die in reruns finding their way to the reboot factory. The next to hit is CHIPS, based off the popular Highway Patrol series CHiPs starring Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada. In the new version Michael Peña stars as Frank ‘Ponch’ Poncherello, and Dax Shepard stars as Jon Baker – Shepard directed the film too. The supporting cast includes Jessica McNamee, Adam Brody, Ryan Hansen, Vincent D’Onofrio, Justin Chatwin, Kristen Bell, Jane Kaczmarek, Rosa Salazar, Angelique Kenney, Maya Rudolph, Adam Rodriguez, Ben Falcone and Richard T. Jones. Check out the poster above and trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

CHIPS opens March 24, 2017
