Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for WONDER WOMAN starring Gal Gadot as the beloved comic book heroine. Chris Pine plays Steve Trevor, Connie Nielsen stars as Queen Hippolyta (WW’s mom), and the supporting cast includes Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya, Florence Kasumba, and Saïd Taghmaoui. We saw a bit of footage in the San Diego Comic-Con trailer, but this one feels more grounded and made for mass audiences. Patty Jenkins (MONSTER) is the director here, and from the look of things has done a great job bringing Diana Price to the big screen – we previously saw Gadot play the role briefly in BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. Allen Heinberg and Geoff Johns wrote the screenplay, based on the story by Heinberg and Zack Snyder. Take a look at the intense new trailer below and see if you’re not excited.

An Amazonian princess leaves her island home to explore the world and, in doing so, becomes one of the world’s greatest heroes.

Wonder Woman hits theaters on June 2, 2017
