ARRIVAL final trailer – Amy Adams & Jeremy Renner make first contact with aliens

arrival-trailer-header

Alien invasion movies are certainly nothing new to come out of Hollywood, but more often than not they skew toward the action-packed blockbuster variety. The new movie ARRIVAL presents a much more serious and slow-moving take, featuring Amy Adams as a communications expert asked to make contact with a visiting alien ship. Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker, and Michael Stuhlbarg also star. Denis Villeneuve (PRISONERS, SICARIO) serves as director, and this definitely looks more creepy and atmospheric than most movies in this category. Take a look at the final trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

ARRIVAL opens November 11, 2016
