JONAH HEX trailer (and poster) starring Josh Brolin & Megan Fox – plus a “Motion Comics” trailer

The classic DC comic book Western hero comes to the big screen, starring Josh Brolin, Megan Fox, John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett, Michael Shannon, Aidan Quinn, and Thomas Lennon.  The film is directed by Jimmy Hayward, who’s only previous directing credit is HORTON HEARS A WHO! Now a trailer like this can either incite strong excitement, or utter disgust.  My buddy Thomas Jane actually campaigned for the title role, but unfortunately lost out to Brolin.  Honestly, I’m not sure what to think about this movie, I guess it could go either way.  The cast is interesting enough, and I do like James Brolin, but I have a feeling the whole thing may be a little too out there for most moivegoers.  Here’s a synopsis:

The U.S. military makes a scarred bounty hunter with warrants on his own head an offer he cannot refuse: in exchange for his freedom, he must stop a terrorist who is ready to unleash Hell on Earth.

Take a look at the trailer and see what you think.

And here’s a preview for the “Motion Comics” being done for JONAH HEX, presenting three classic tales like you’ve never seen before.

JONAH HEX opens June 18, 2010
