Kate Beckinsale has certainly had an impressive career in a wide variety of films, but none have reached the level of success she’s seen in the UNDERWORLD franchise. The latest in that line hits theaters this January, titled UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS. This time the Lycans are on the hunt for Selene’s blood (hence the title). Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

In addition to Hollywood reporting, Mark has worked for many years as an advertising and sci-fi/comic book artist. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
