In the new trailer for LA LA LAND, directed by Damien Chazelle (WHIPLASH), Ryan Gosling re-teams with Emma Stone once again after their previous pairings in CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE and GANGSTER SQUAD, this time doing a little singing and dancing for a musical production. This is one of those films that could go either way, but in the hands of Chazelle I’m definitely interested to see the end result. The supporting cast includes J.K. Simmons, Finn Wittrock, Rosemarie DeWitt, Josh Pence and John Legend. Check out the newest look and tell us your thoughts in the comments. This also works as a fun companion trailer to the first, as the first trailer featured Ryan Gosling singing, and this one features Emma Stone, showing both sides of the musical motif.

Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.

LA LA LAND opens December 2, 2016
