WAR ON EVERYONE trailer – Alexander Skarsgård & Michael Peña are comically corrupt cops

John Michael McDonagh has more than proven himself to be a director to watch with fantastic films like THE GUARD and CALVARY. His newest effort is WAR ON EVERYONE, which stars Alexander Skarsgård and Michael Peña as a couple of questionable new Mexico cops. While Peña is no stranger to strong comedic performances, this is an interesting choice for Skarsgård, who looks crazy funny in the UK trailer below. The supporting cast includes Tessa Thompson, Theo James, Stephanie Sigman, Caleb Landry Jones, Malcolm Barrett, and Paul Reiser. WAR ON EVERYONE has already shown at SXSW and the Berlin Film Festival, and the response was pretty solid. I have faith in McDonagh, so this is already on my “can’t wait” list. Let us know your thoughts in the comments – please note, the trailer is NSFW (not safe for work) mostly due to language.

War on Everyone follows two corrupt cops in New Mexico who set out to blackmail and frame every criminal unfortunate enough to cross their path. Things take a sinister turn, however, when they try to intimidate someone who is more dangerous than they are. Or is he?

WAR ON EVERYONE doesn’t have a U.S. release date as of this writing
