THE ACCOUNTANT trailer – Anna Kendrick really wants to know who Ben Affleck is

accountant-poster1

Ben Affleck was easily the most surprising (in the best possible way) part of BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, giving us a new take on The Dark Knight that some have argued is the strongest and most likable to date. He’s not slowing down though, as his next film THE ACCOUNTANT will find him back in action in a somewhat different way. Affleck plays a math savant who has his tapping fingers mixed up in some seedy money. Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor and the great John Lithgow co-star in this taut thriller from director Gavin O’Connor (WARRIOR). Take a look at the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

THE ACCOUNTANT opens October 14, 2016
