If you’re like me, you’ve been anxiously awaiting more Duncan Jones-directed greatness to hit the big screen. The director of MOON and SOURCE CODE is easily one of the most promising filmmakers to come along in the last decade, and his next project is definitely his most ambitious to date. WARCRAFT, based on the insanely popular computer game World of Warcraft, will absolutely be one of the biggest summer movies of 2016, and today we get another look at it with a new International trailer. The cast features Ben Foster (as Medivh), Travis Fimmel (as Anduin Lothar), Toby Kebbell (as Durotan), Paula Patton (as Garona), Dominic Cooper (as Llane Wrynn), Ruth Negga (as Lady Tario), Robert Kazinsky (as Orgrim), and Clancy Brown (as Blackhand). Interesting side note, Cooper and Negga will soon be soon in AMC’s PREACHER series as well. Take a look at the trailer for WARCRAFT below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. I have faith in anything Jones is behind, so I’ll be first in line.
The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
