Red band trailer for Seth Rogen’s animated SAUSAGE PARTY is here to eff you up for life

One of the new comedies to come from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg this year isn’t going to be anything like what most people would expect… at least not visually. The red band trailer for their CG-animated comedy SAUSAGE PARTY starts out looking like an average kid film, then descends into insanity and debauchery. This played at this year’s South By Southwest Film Festival, and the reactions have been pretty strong, and mostly positive, though everyone notes it’s pretty adult in its humor. The voice cast is crazy, filled with huge names like Jonah Hill, James Franco, Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Michael Cera, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek. This trailer is REALLY not safe for work, so watch when and where you play it. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Sausage Party, the first R-rated CG animated movie, is about one sausage leading a group of supermarket products on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and what really happens when they become chosen to leave the grocery store. The film features the vocal talents of a who’s who of today’s comedy stars – Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.

SAUSAGE PARTY opens August 12, 2016
