Ben Stiller is back in a new trailer for ZOOLANDER II… ZOOLANDER 2… or 2OOLANDER

The long-awaited sequel to ZOOLANDER isn’t far off now. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson return to their respective roles from the comedy classic in ZOOLANDER 2… or 2OOLANDER, though there’s a little debate over the proper title – the new trailer below seems to be going with the latter. Justin Theroux co-wrote the sequel with Stiller – you may recall seeing Theroux as the breakdancing DJ in the original movie. Stiller directs, and also returning are Christine Taylor as Matilda Jeffries, Will Ferrell as Mugatu, and Billy Zane as Billy Zane. The supporting cast includes Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz, Fred Armisen, Olivia Munn, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Benedict Cumberbatch and Cyrus Arnold. You’ll have to wait until February to see the film, but get a taste of what to expect below right now. And yes, that is Kristen Wiig as the Donatella Versace-esque supervillain.

It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe… it’s basically Derek and Hansel… though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them. Will Ferrell is written into the script and he’s expressed interest in doing it. I think Mugatu is an integral part of the Zoolander story, so yes, he features in a big way.

ZOOLANDER 2 opens February 12, 2016
