Sometimes foreign versions of movie trailers have a few new scenes in them, and sometimes they’re like a completely different trailer entirely. The Japanese version of the STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer is definite treat, as it has several new shots, new dialogue, even completely different music than that last U.S. trailer that broke the internet. Things worthy of note here – new scene featuring Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, first glimpse of Ken Leung (LOST) next to her which also confirms him in the movie, new shot of Chewbacca being a bad-ass, Stormtroopers (I’m sorry, FLAMEtroopers) destroying a village… let’s just say there’s a lot of great stuff in there. Take a gander at the new trailer below, and after watching it twenty or thirty times, tell us your thoughts in the comments. STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. Original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker are also featured.
