Occasionally we get some exclusives to share with you all, and this week we got something very cool indeed.  The fine folks at Magnolia Pictures are releasing an imaginative and wild take on the ALICE IN WONDERLAND storyline called MALICE IN WONDERLAND.  An American law student in London is knocked down by a black cab, she wakes with amnesia in a world that’s a million miles from home – Wonderland. We follow her adventures as she’s dragged through an underworld filled with twisted individuals and the lowest low-lifers, by the enigmatic cab driver, Whitey. She needs to find out who she is, where she’s from and use what wits she has left to get back home in one piece. As her journey progresses she discovers nothing is what it seems, realizes that fate and life are terminally entwined, and finds true love lurking in the unlikeliest place.  Check out the trailer!

Simon Fellows directs, and the film stars Maggie Grace (LOST) and Danny Dyer.  We got our hands on some exclusive photos from the film, which you can see below.  The movie just had a special limited opening as the San Diego Gaslamp Theater (been there many times) and will be debuting on DVD May 11, 2010.  We’ll see if we can get a few copies to giveaway, contest style!  This looks like a really cool flick, and from what I’m hearing, it’s truly an experience.  As much as I enjoyed Tim Burton’s spin on the classic, I find this one really intriguing.  We’ll have more info soon for y’all.
