Adam Sandler’s newest comedy will not be hitting theaters, but rather Netflix this December. THE RIDICULOUS 6 looks like a parody of Sergio Leone Westerns, or perhaps even more recent fare like Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED… and it just so happens it premieres within weeks of Tarantino’s next similarly-titled Western, THE HATEFUL 8. Sandler headlines an all-star cast that includes Terry Crews, Jorge Garcia, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Luke Wilson, Will Forte, Nick Swardson, Blake Shelton, Jon Lovitz, Vanilla Ice, Whitney Cummings, Steve Zahn, Norm MacDonald, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, Chris Parnell, Lavell Crawford, John Turturro… oh man, there’s just too many to name. It’s directed by frequent Sandler collaborator Frank Coraci (BLENDED). If it looks more polished than you might have expected, that may be due to Dean Semler handling cinematography – he’s worked on movies like DANCES WITH WOLVES, APOCALYPTO and the original MAD MAX films… this isn’t his first time working on an Adam Sandler production, but it looks like he’s bringing his A-game here. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

When his long-lost outlaw father returns, Tommy ‘White Knife’ Stockburn goes on an adventure-filled journey across the Old West with his five brothers.

THE RIDICULOUS 6 hits Netflix on December 11, 2015
