New trailer… new poster… both here. This is one of those moments where all other movies should just take the week off from promotional efforts, as the new STAR WARS trailer is here. Premiering on ESPN during Monday Night Football, this gives us another solid look at the highly-anticipated new film. We’re also treated to a new theatrical poster, which you can click on above to see in very high resolution. Sadly, the new poster is not done by the great movie poster artist Drew Struzan, which is perhaps the biggest sin of the new production thus far. Take a gander at the new trailer below, and after watching it twenty or thirty times, tell us your thoughts in the comments. STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. Original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker are also featured.

STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS opens December 18, 2015
