Disney and Pixar already has one hit this year with INSIDE OUT, but lightning may strike twice with November’s release of THE GOOD DINOSAUR. Check out the new Spanish trailer below (only the text bits are in Spanish, the dialogue is in English), which finally gives us a few dinosaur voices and more awesome imagery. The first trailer was very light on voices, but we’ve known for a while that the vocal cast includes Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, Frances McDormand, Marcus Scribner, and Jack Bright. This is directed by Peter Sohn, who previously gave us the short film “Partly Cloudy” that lead into UP. We’ve seen a few animated dinosaur films before, but in some ways this almost looks like a prehistoric take on PETE’S DRAGON. Take a look for yourself and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
