The DEADPOOL red band (and green) trailer is here – Ryan Reynolds is touching himself tonight

One of the most talked-about trailers to hit at San Diego Comic-Con this year for Fox’s sneak preview for DEADPOOL, which stars Ryan Reynolds (as the beloved Marvel character), Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand. Until now it’s only existed online in the form of crappy bootleg footage shot by those in the audience told to put their phones away. Now you can see it the right way, it all its red band (or green band) glory. This is essentially the same trailer that audiences saw at this year’s Comic-Con, though missing a few bits, like Deadpool finding out Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s name, Stan Lee’s cameo, Deadpool calling Colossus a “cock-gobbler”, and seeing co-creator Rob Liefeld in a tattoo parlor. Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

And here’s the green band trailer:

And here’s Ryan Reynolds on tonight’s CONAN show telling Conan O’Brien how DEADPOOL became a reality:
