SPECTRE hits theaters this November, bringing back Daniel Craig as James Bond, and SKYFALL director Sam Mendes. This should be an interesting entry in the franchise, as it’s following a lot of the set up given in SKYFALL, involving 007’s childhood, and the introduction of a new M (Ralph Fiennes), a new Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and a new Q (Ben Whishaw). The supporting cast includes Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser, Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Andrew Scott as Denbigh, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and Jesper Christensen (CASINO ROYALE and QUANTUM OF SOLACE) returning as Mr. White. Today we get a new 60-second TV spot, which shows most of what we saw in the teaser trailer, but has a lot of new shots in there as well, including Monica Belucci and Léa Seydoux. This almost looks like a darker and more serious entry than SKYFALL, and we’re fine with that. Are you excited for SPECTRE? We can’t wait!
In SPECTRE, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Sam Mendes returns to direct SPECTRE, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. SPECTRE is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
SPECTRE opens on November 6, 2015
