SUICIDE SQUAD is quickly building an enormous amount of hype, partly because director David Ayer has already done a fine job teasing the movie for fans. We’ve seen the cast together for a table reading, and we’ve seen Jared Leto as The Joker, but now we finally get a look at the full cast in costume… and it’s some interesting stuff. Noticeably absent from this shot is Jared Leto, and after that shot of his as The Joker was released and the fan backlash that resulted from it, we’re guessing they want to save the “full” look of Joker for later. Also missing from this shot is Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Common (role unknown), Ike Barinholtz as Dr. Hugo Strange or Raymond Olubowale as King Shark. Here’s who we do see – Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo. I gotta say, this looks pretty awesome.

Photographer Clay Enos also posted a snazzy photo of Will Smith in full Deadshot costume, which you can see here:

Outside of the cast, there’s still a lot of mystery surrounding the movie. Some rumors indicate it could be set during the same time period as BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, which opens in March of 2016. With Batman in that film and The Joker in this one, it might make sense to have at least some layer of crossover with the two projects, but both films are pretty full of characters as it is. Previously Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman was quoted to say “The Warner Bros. roots are deep on this one. We look forward to seeing this terrific ensemble, under David Ayer’s amazing guidance, give new meaning to what it means to be a villain and what it means to be a hero.” Are you looking forward to SUICIDE SQUAD?
