As long as we’re rolling out trailers to make sure everyone remembers all of the geektastic offerings your cinema will have on display this Summer, let’s take a gander at Universal highly-anticipated JURASSIC WORLD, which also shows a few new looks at both Vincent D’Onofrio and Jake Johnson’s characters.
There’s three takeaways in this new tease from director Colin Trevorrow’s return to Isla Nublar: Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) is the Velociraptor Whisperer, and is the only person who can handle a dino-jailbreak; the new dinosaur cooked up in the lab (by Bryce Dallas Howard’s character) to boost flagging Jurassic Park attendance is wicked intelligent; and no matter how secure you try to make Jurassic Park, there will always be running and screaming.
Twenty-two years after the events of JURASSIC PARK, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After ten years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
The park re-opens on June 12, 2015.
