SINISTER became a horror hit in 2012, introducing the evil Buhguul and his disturbing found footage – it was a smart blending of old found film footage and a straightforward narrative, and contained some of the most disturbing movie scenes in recent years. Now the nefarious Bughuul is back in SINISTER 2, directed by Ciaran Foy (CITADEL) and written by original film screenwriters Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill. This outing stars Shannyn Sossamon, James Ransone, and twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan. Blumhouse premiered a first look at the film over last weekend at WonderCon, but now we’ve got the full trailer for you to check out. Let us know what you think in the comments below.

The sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit horror movie. In the aftermath of the shocking events in “Sinister,” a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Bughuul continues to spread with frightening intensity.

SINISTER 2 opens August 21, 2015
