I will never understand why Donnie Yen is not bigger in the United States. When stars like Jackie Chan and Jet Li get Hollywood love, Yen is consistently turning in mind-blowing performances in amazing films filled with jaw-dropping fights. Every time he puts out a movie, I scramble to see it as soon as possible. His newest is KUNG FU KILLER from our friends at Well Go USA. The story revolves around a serial killer who has set his sights on martial arts masters, and Yen plays a man released from prison and into police custody, tasked with bringing this murderer to justice. Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. In 2001 he started the Entertainment section of the Herorealm website, where he contributed film reviews and celebrity interviews until 2004. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
