I will never understand why Donnie Yen is not bigger in the United States. When stars like Jackie Chan and Jet Li get Hollywood love, Yen is consistently turning in mind-blowing performances in amazing films filled with jaw-dropping fights. Every time he puts out a movie, I scramble to see it as soon as possible. His newest is KUNG FU KILLER from our friends at Well Go USA. The story revolves around a serial killer who has set his sights on martial arts masters, and Yen plays a man released from prison and into police custody, tasked with bringing this murderer to justice. Directed by Teddy Chen, the film also stars Wang Baoqiang, Charlie Young, Michelle Bai, Christine Chen, and Deep Ng. Check out the trailer below to get a taste of what to expect.

A vicious serial killer is targeting top martial arts masters, and convicted criminal and kung-fu master Hahou (Donnie Yen) is the only one with the skills to stop him. Released from jail and into police custody, they soon have their doubts about Hahou’s true allegiance after a series of mysterious events. Hunted by an unstoppable killer (Wang Baoqiang) and the entire police force, Hahou finds himself on his own, leading to a final battle you have to see to believe in this action-packed, kung fu crime thriller from director Teddy Chen (Bodyguards & Assassins, The Accidental Spy).

KUNG FU KILLER opens in theaters on April 24, 2015
