Fans of THE HUNGER GAMES will soon see the film franchise come to an end, but will it be a spectacular finish? The last movie THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY Part 1 hits theaters late last year, and met with some lackluster reviews from critics, and even fans feeling a bit bored with the talky and slow-moving narrative. Perhaps Part 2 will deliver the action that was missing. Check out the first poster from the film and the teaser trailer, which is essentially an audio recap of everything that’s happened so far, set to the animation of the Mockingjay breaking free from the ring. In many ways it’s the perfect execution of a “teaser” for a movie, though we imagine more traditional trailer will hit soon enough. Fans will see this teaser in theaters this weekend with THE DIVERGENT SERIES: INSURGENT, but the film itself won’t hit until November 20. Francis Lawrence serves as director again on MOCKINGJAY Part 2, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Natalie Dormer, with Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland.
