Continuing in a tradition of putting casts of beloved Nineties TV shows back together (FULL HOUSE comes to mind), Jimmy Fallon reminisced about his high school days with the classmates of Bayside High. Presented for your Throwback Thursday watching pleasure:
The gang was (mostly) all there, and looking ageless: Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack, Mario Lopez as A.C. Slater, Elizabeth Berkeley as Jessie Spano and (a highly-pregnant) Tiffani Theissen as Kelly Kapowski. Even Dennis Haskins stops in as Mr. Belding. (Missing in action: Dustin Diamond, whose legal problems of late probably kept his phone from ringing to reprise the role of Screech.)
The sketch adds to a phenomenal week for Fallon, who scored big with the post-Super Bowl “Epic Lip Sync Battle” with Kevin Hart and Will Farrell, and Tuesday’s “dueling Neil Young” rendition of “Old Man.”
