With the big game coming up Sunday, some studios have decided to post their big movie commercial spots online early. One of those is TERMINATOR: GENISYS. We’ve already seen a teaser trailer for the film, which met with either surprising excitement or passionate hatred. We thought it looked cool, for what it’s worth. The Super Bowl spot is basically like a shortened version of the trailer, with some interesting new shots. The sequel (which is apparently going to rewrite the history started in the first film) stars Emilia Clarke (GAME OF THRONES), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jai Courtney (DIVERGENT), Jason Clarke (DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES), Matt Smith (DOCTOR WHO), J.K. Simmons (WHIPLASH), and Byung-hun Lee (G.I. JOE 1 and 2). Check out the new spot below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future…

TERMINATOR: GENISYS hits theaters July 1, 2015
