Netflix sets Marvel’s DAREDEVIL series debut a lot sooner than expected – see a motion poster

[Updated with motion version of teaser poster]

Not content to overload fans with new trailers for ANT-MAN and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON this month, Marvel and Netflix dropped a nifty bombshell during the Winter Press Tour for television critics and writers, announcing an April 10 debut for the entirety of Season One of DAREDEVIL.

The series is the first of four MCU titles Netflix will be producing over the next couple of years. Charlie Cox stars as Matt Murdock, a blind Hell’s Kitchen attorney who is able to fight criminals using his ultra-heightened senses. Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Hanson co-star.

As with all Netflix original series, all thirteen episodes of DAREDEVIL’s first season will be released simultaneously, for mainlining directly into your cerebrum.

DAREDEVIL will be followed by A.K.A. JESSICA JONES, an IRON FIST series, and a LUKE CAGE series. Speculation that the four principles will unite in THE DEFENDERS is high, but those plans are still only up on Kevin Feige’s wall.

Netflix also released a teaser poster with the news, and a “motion” version of the same. Observe, True Believers! (Pay attention, Jim.)
