The new movie THE AGE OF ADALINE explores a familiar cinematic concept, that of immortality. But unlike films that involve vampires or Highlanders, this one is more about love and the loss of love. Blake Lively stars as Adaline, a woman who has a car wreck in the 1930s which results in her no longer aging. Now she keeps on living, but maintains the appearance (and we’re guessing health) of a 27-year-old woman. She meets men and falls in love, but ends up leaving them behind as time goes on. She even has a daughter at one point, who she watches grow old through the years. It’s cryptic in the trailer, but there’s also apparently reasons she has to stay hidden, thanks to something in her past. Outside of Lively, the film also features Michiel Huisman (Daario Naharis in GAME OF THRONES), Ellen Burstyn, Amanda Crew, and Harrison Ford. But one face to watch for is Anthony Ingruber, who plays a younger version of Ford’s character. Ingruber has developed a following from his celebrity impression videos on YouTube, which include a pretty flawless Harrison Ford, and he very obviously looks (almost eerily) like a younger version of the man. Check out these photos of Anthony captured from the trailer and see if you don’t agree:

Uncanny, right? Just imagine him playing a young Han Solo should they decide to do a spinoff movie. I’ve followed Ingruber since his earliest days on YouTube, and it’s awesome to see him used in this. Anthony used to reside in New Zealand, and moved to Toronto. He’s still posting videos occasionally to YouTube, so check him out there. THE AGE OF ADALINE is directed by Lee Toland Krieger (CELESTE & JESSE FOREVER), and hits April of next year. Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman) reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline makes a decision that will change her life forever.

THE AGE OF ADALINE opens April 24, 2015
