David Hayter has certainly proven himself a successful screenwriter in Hollywood with movies like X-MEN, X2 and WATCHMEN. He makes his feature directorial debut with WOLVES, which looks a little like THE LOST BOYS with a werewolf twist. The film stars Lucas Till (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS), the always-wonderful Stephen McHattie, Merritt Patterson, and GAME OF THRONES alum Jason Momoa. There’s a new red band trailer (and green band trailer) which you can see below. It’s also worthy of note that Hayter’s next director gig is the upcoming Marvel BLACK WIDOW movie with Scarlett Johansson, so WOLVES should give us an idea of his style behind the camera. Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
