Both the teaser trailer and San Diego Comic-Con trailers were pretty incredible, but the new 60-second IMAX preview for director Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR is pretty damn awesome in its own way – since it uses the word “cinemas”, we’re guessing this comes from the UK. Nolan has proven with movies like MEMENTO and INCEPTION that he can weave a fascinating story you’ll only fully appreciate upon seeing the end result. There’s a brief plot description below, but it’s probably best to let Nolan do what he does best when you’re sitting in a darkened theater. INTERSTELLAR is co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, John Lithgow, Topher Grace and Michael Caine. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
