The upcoming War epic FURY, written and directed by David Ayer, is already being called a surefire Oscar-contender by many. The stellar cast includes Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Scott Eastwood, Jon Bernthal, Xavier Samuel, Jason Isaacs, Michael Peña and Jim Parrack. It’s been a while since we’ve had a really impressive WWII battle film, unless of course you count Quentin Tarantino’s INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS… which incidentally also starred Brad Pitt. But unlike Tarantino’s work, FURY is very much on the serious side. Check out the first official trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

FURY opens on November 14, 2014
