You are not ready… okay, maybe you are. On tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels appeared as Jimmy’s first guests. More importantly they premiered the first trailer for DUMB AND DUMBER TO. Hard to believe that the first DUMB AND DUMBER was 20 years ago (yep, 1994). The trailer does a lot in a short period of time – we see a lot of things have stayed the same, we resolve the 20-year history since the last film, and we see our boys haven’t changed much. My concern is whether or not the humor that worked so well in the 90s will still play today, though I got more than a few chuckles from the trailer. Outside of Carrey and Daniels, the new film also stars Kathleen Turner, Laurie Holden, and Rob Riggle, and features return appearances by the original film stars Cam Neely (who again plays “Sea Bass”) and Brady Bluhm (who was Billy in Apartment 4C). Check out the trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To. The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.

DUMB AND DUMBER TO opens November 14, 2014
