Yesterday, BATMAN VS SUPERMAN director Zack Snyder tweeted a tease of the Batmobile under a tarp, with the suggestion we’d see the whole thing the following day:

What he gave us, instead, was only part of the Batmobile, but the photo was certainly not a disappointment:

EDIT: Here’s some close-up detail on the new Batsuit, fitting in with the textured look we’ve seen in action on the latest Superman design.
This is the first photo we’ve seen of Ben Affleck in costume as Batman for the upcoming production. It’s a glimpse into the art direction we’ll get when Henry Cavill’s Superman faces off against Bruce Wayne’s masked detective in 2016. The film just started principle photography, with Amy Adams returning as Lois Lane, and adding Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Godot as Wonder Woman, and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth. The flick is designed to lead into a JUSTICE LEAGUE production, also directed by Snyder once he finished work on BATMAN VS SUPERMAN.
What do you make of the new inhabitant of the Batsuit, gang? Will Affleck join the ranks of Christian Bale and Michael Keaton as beloved Batmen? Or will he be relegated to Val Kilmer or George Clooney status? Leave your comments below!
