As the festival comes to a close, A CONVERSATION WITH JOHN KRICFALUSI and TRUST ME are two things you need to be at during the Dallas International Film Festival today… and Bigfanboy.com is hosting both events. Okay, so we’re a little biased on these, but they’re still incredibly cool.
First up, the Dallas International Film Festival presents a Conversation with John K. and a screening of his collected works. The award-winning animator will discuss his career, animation technique and the animation industry. We’ll follow it with a screening of his favorite pieces, spanning his illustrious career.

TRUST ME follows flailing agent Howard Holloway, whose own failed career as a young actor makes him a natural fit for the scheming world of Hollywood agents. Yet, despite—nay, because—of his good intentions, Howard is unable to find even a smidgen of success, bumbling through one failed interaction onto the next. Howard unexpectedly stumbles upon a new prospect: Lydia, a tremendously talented and currently unrepresented‹fourteen-year-old. Determined to succeed for once in his life, Howard resolves to do whatever it takes to build Lydia¹s career and to protect her from her mercurial (and frequently intoxicated) father, Ray.
