Well we’ve certainly had no shortage of items posted from Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, but why not a few more this week. First up, check out a new Chinese poster that popped up featuring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. And when you’re done with that, take a look at a new TV commercial you’ll be seeing Stateside for the United States Post Office, featuring Spider-Man and a special cameo at the end… any hardcore fan can probably guess who the cameo will be, but it’s still fun to watch. Marc Webb successfully took the reigns from Sam Raimi when he directed the Spider-Man reboot THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN in 2012, even though domestically the film only grossed about $30 million more than its sizable $230 million budget… but not to worry, it’s Worldwide take was $752,216,557. Needless to say a sequel was inevitable. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are back, joined by Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti and Dane DeHaan… the latter three of which are all villains to Spidey. Are you excited to see the next installment in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN franchise?
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
