DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES trailer premiere – quit monkeying around and watch it!

We just posted four new posters from DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES last week, and now, finally, we get to see the first trailer for the film. This time the director’s chair belongs to Matt Reeves (LET ME IN), and while Andy Serkis is back in the head motion capture role, the cast is all new faces. Gary Oldman, Judy Greer, Jason Clarke, Toby Kebell, Kick Acevedo, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Keri Russell are all featured. Check out the new trailer below and tell us your thoughts in the comments. Are you excited for the next chapter in this franchise? Let us know in the comments. That last shot of Caesar looks pretty amazingly flawless.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
