Now this is what you call a “teaser trailer.” Director Christopher Nolan has proven with movies like MEMENTO and INCEPTION that he can weave a fascinating story you’ll only fully appreciate upon seeing the end result. Sometimes a trailer can’t even begin to explain the ride you’re in for, but the new teaser for INSTERSTELLAR is quite effective and intriguing. Featuring a voiceover by the film’s star, Matthew McConaughey, most of what you see if old news footage… though it still has me incredibly anxious to see what all of it is leading to. There’s a brief plot description below, but it’s probably best to let Nolan do what he does best when you’re sitting in a darkened theater. INTERSTELLAR is co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Caine.
