Been wondering what Zack Snyder’s been up to since turning in WATCHMEN?  Well we’ve got your answer.  Originally titled GUARDIANS OF GA’HOOLE, this September sees the release of LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS.  A young barn owl named Soren is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie’s, where under the guise of being an orphanage, owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble and wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. Emilie de Ravin, Abbie Cornish, Hugo Weaving, Geoffrey Rush, Helen Mirren, Jim Sturgess, Sam Neill, Ryan Kwanten, David Wenham, Miriam Margolyes, and Jay Laga’aia provide voice talents, with a script from John Collee (MASTER AND COMMANDER: THE FAR SIDE OF THE WORLD) and John Orloff (A MIGHTY HEART). The movie is based on the first book in a three-book series.
