As I first pointed out earlier this year, I, FRANKENSTEIN was originally set to come out this year (both in February and then September) but has since been pushed back till January of next year.  We now have our first look at the first three posters for the graphic novel adaptation.  Not much to go on here to let us know the quality of the film but to be honest, two release date pushes (even if the supposed reason is a 3D conversion) doesn’t give one a very strong sense of confidence.  Still, this one could surprise us (hey, it’s happened before) and January is usually lite on quality competition so if they can manage to put out some good marketing, this might have a chance of being a box-office success at the very least.

From the creators of the hit supernatural saga, “Underworld,”comes the action thriller “I, Frankenstein,” written for the screen and directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel “I, Frankenstein” by Kevin Grievous, and brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.

I, FRANKENSTEIN is set to hit 2D and 3D theaters on January 24, 2014.
