The screening in on Tuesday, July 9 2013 at 7:30pm in Plano. One print off per person please (again, your pass admits for two). Please, no trading of passes. If you’re not 100% sure you can attend, please do not print passes, as you could be taking a pass away from someone who genuinely wants to be there. SYNOPSIS: From acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes Warner Bros. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes, a washed up former pilot and an untested trainee who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. In 2001 he started the Entertainment section of the Herorealm website, where he contributed film reviews and celebrity interviews until 2004. After three years of service there, he started Bigfanboy.com, which has become one of the Dallas film community's leading information websites.
