THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE debuts two victory tour posters

Warning, DO NOT READ on if you have not seen the first movie or read the book as there is potential spoilers.

If you have read the second book of THE HUNGER GAMES trilogy entitled Catching Fire, you know that a lot of the first part of the book deals with the tour of the districts by Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), the two winning tributes of the 74th Annual Hunger Games.  We now have two new posters for the upcoming sequel THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE that look more like viral marketing posters as they focus on the two and announce their victory tour.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson,  Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald  Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman,  Amanda Plummer, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit, Meta Golding, Bruno Gunn, Alan  Ritchson, E. Roger Mitchell, Maria Howell, Stephanie Leigh Schlund, Sam Claflin and Jeffrey Wright.

SYNOPSIS: “The  Hunger Games: Catching Fire” begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe  after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta  Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and  close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way  Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much  in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter  Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is set to hit 2D and IMAX theaters on November 22, 2013.
