Dallas – watch the original RED DAWN at the Texas Theatre (Nov 3 or 4), get a shirt or bandana!

We got more stuff! If you missed the Thursday night show, we’ve got more RED DAWN swag, so we’re giving you two more chances to walk away with something cool.

While many consider it a classic, there’s a lot of people out there who have never seen the original RED DAWN (starring Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey and Lea Thompson) on the big screen… well if you live in Dallas, that changes now. The Texas Theatre is showing an original 35mm print of the cult classic in all its glory, and Bigfanboy.com is once again hosting! Come to the Texas Theatre on Saturday (November 3) or Sunday (November 4), and we’ll give you a free RED DAWN t-shirt or bandana (while they last – but we have a LOT) just for buying a ticket! Bigfanboy.com has partnered with Fildistrict to hook you up with cool swag from the new RED DAWN film, and what better way to hype that up than to see the original RED DAWN on a big screen? You could come watch the movie in classic fashion, and get a sweet new poster for your wall! The Texas Theatre is a fantastic repertory cinema house, but they occasionally show first run features as well, and on this one we’re helping them do it up in style.

You don’t have to do anything special, just buy yourself a ticket for the Saturday (November 3rd) for the 8:00pm show of RED DAWN or Sunday (November 4th) for the 9:15pm show – these are the only remaining shows this offer is good for! Theme attire encouraged, but please leave weapons at home. You must show your ticket to get either a shirt or bandana. Come join us Saturday or Sunday for all the fun.

A few notes – if you’ve never been to the Texas Theatre, this is a great place to see movies in a classic environment. Painstakingly restored by the fine folks at Aviation Cinemas, the main house features an impressive 650 seats. Perhaps best known in history as the location where Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested, you’ll immediately feel the nostalgia upon entering the doors of this stylish building. The Texas Theatre also has a full bar and plenty of lounge seating, which is a great place to have a drink and talk about the film you’re about to see… or just saw! We’ll be hosting the Saturday (8:00pm) and Sunday (9:15pm) showings of RED DAWN on November 3 and 4 – the free shirt or bandana offer is ONLY good for those showings – while supplies last.

NOTE: We’e giving away items while supplies last, so if you show up just before the movie starts, there’s a good chance you will NOT get one of our goodies. Be aware of this.
