Check out a deleted opening scene from Marvel’s THE AVENGERS – hits Blu-ray & DVD Sept 25

Marvel’s THE AVENGERS is hitting Blu-ray and DVD this September 25, 2012 – you can pre-order it right here. There promises to be a lot of bonus content in the home video version of the blockbuster hit, but today Yahoo treats us to a deleted opening scene, which is considerably darker in tone (and also gives an advance idea of how the ending plays out) than the opening audiences ended up getting in the finished version. Personally, I like it, though I can also understand why they changed it. The clip features Chris Evans as Captain America, and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
