This November sees the return of Daniel Craig as James Bond in SKYFALL, and excitement is building to a fever pitch thanks to some rather cool-looking new trailers. Today we’re treated to four new UK theatrical posters, and a spiffy new banner, all hi-res and all below (courtesy of the 007 Facebook page). The plot of his third outing as 007 has so far been kept pretty secret (a hard thing to do in the internet age), but the new theatrical trailer below gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. Javier Bardem plays the villain this time out, with Judi Dench returning as “M”, and below you’ll get your first look at the new “Q” played by Ben Whishaw. I loved everything I’ve seen from the movie, and these new trailers are solidifying my confidence that Sam Mendes (a director some found to be a questionable choice for a Bond film) will do a fine job. SKYFALL is set to hit theaters and IMAX on November 9, 2012.
Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. In addition to Hollywood reporting, Mark has worked for many years as an advertising and sci-fi/comic book artist. Clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Topps Trading Cards, The Dallas Mavericks and The Dallas Stars. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
