This October sees the return of Daniel Craig as James Bond in SKYFALL. The plot of his third outing as 007 has so far been kept pretty secret (a hard thing to do in the internet age), but the new theatrical trailer below gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. Javier Bardem plays the villain this time out, with Judi Dench returning as “M”, and below you’ll get your first look at the new “Q” played by Ben Whishaw. I loved everything I’ve seen from the movie, and these new trailers are solidifying my confidence that Sam Mendes (a director some found to be a questionable choice for a Bond film) will do a fine job. Check out both trailers below (subtle differences in each) and tell us your thoughts in the comments. Are you as excited about the return of 007 as we are?
SKYFALL is directed by Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and Tonia Sotiropoulou.
SYNOPSIS: In “Skyfall,” Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
SKYFALL is set to hit theaters and IMAX on November 9, 2012.
