TNT is about to premiere their new DALLAS series, and we here at Bigfanboy.com are pretty excited about it. I grew up watching Dallas with my family, both parents and grandparents… it was almost like a tradition in our house. When I heard the show was getting a revival, it seemed like a cool idea. Then I heard it was being shot IN Dallas. This is awesome. Most folks aren’t aware the original series wasn’t always shot around here, usually just the exteriors. Dallas, and Texas in general, is growing as a place for film and TV, and it’s great to have a high profile series like this draw more attention to the area. I was recently invited by TNT to attend the special red carpet premiere at the luxurious Winspear Opera House in Downtown Dallas. While there I had the chance to talk with series stars (in this order) Patrick Duffy, Brenda Strong, Jesse Metcalfe, Julie Gonzalo, Linda Gray, Jordana Brewster, Larry Hagman and Josh Henderson. Check out the interviews below, and tell us your thoughts in the comments. Are you looking forward to the new DALLAS?

My thanks once again to the intrepid Ric Mulligan for shooting this!
