This weekend is the 10th Anniversary of the Dallas Comic Con, featuring an amazing lineup of talent from both the comic book and entertainment industry. Among the key players is the always-wonderful Adam West, who will be appearing at the show alongside the Boy Wonder himself, Burt Ward. Seriously, who doesn’t love the 1960’s BATMAN television series? I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Adam through the years, and always found him to be fun and funny, and filled with great stories. In 2010 I had a chance to interview Adam at John Harper’s Trek Expo convention, and ran the amusing little chat back then in various places. But considering West’s appearance at the big show this weekend, I thought it would be appropriate to re-upload the video for those who may have missed it the first time. Born and raised in Dallas, Mark has been a movie critic since 1994, with reviews featured in print, radio and National TV. In 2001 he started the Entertainment section of the Herorealm website, where he contributed film reviews and celebrity interviews until 2004. In addition to Hollywood reporting, Mark has worked for many years as an advertising and sci-fi/comic book artist. Clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Topps Trading Cards, The Dallas Mavericks and The Dallas Stars. From 2002 until 2015 he managed the Dallas Comic Con, Sci-Fi Expo and Fan Days events in the DFW area. He currently catalogs rare comic books and movie memorabilia for Heritage Auctions, and runs the Dallas Comic Show conventions, but remains an avid moviegoer and cinema buff.
