A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING is directed by Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell and stars Simon Pegg, Amara Karan, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith and Alan Drake.

SYNOPSIS: Simon Pegg will star in “A Fantastic Fear of Everything,” a psycho comedy in which he plays a children’s author turned crime novelist whose research into the lives of Victorian serial killers turns him into a paranoid wreck, especially when a Hollywood executive decides he wants to make a film out of his findings.

A FANTASTIC FEAR OF EVERYTHING is set to hit theaters on June 8, 2012 in the UK but the US release date has not been released yet.

 

ARGO is directed by Ben Affleck and stars Ben Affleck, Alan Arkin, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Kerry Bishe, Kyle Chandler, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall, Victor Garber, Zeljko Ivanek, Richard Kind, Scoot McNairy, Chris Messina, Michael Parks and Taylor Schilling.

SYNOPSIS: Based on true events, “Argo” chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis–the truth of which was unknown by the public for decades. On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of the Canadian ambassador. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, a CIA “exfiltration” specialist named Tony Mendez (Affleck) comes up with a risky plan to get them safely out of the country. A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.

ARGO is set to hit theaters on October 12, 2012.

KILLER JOE is directed by William Friedkin and stars Matthew McConaughey, Emile Hirsch, Juno Temple, Thomas Haden Church and Gina Gershon.

SYNOPSIS: When 22 year old drug dealer Chris (Hirsch) has his stash stolen by his mother, he has to come up with six thousand dollars quick or he’s dead. Desperate, he turns to “Killer Joe” (McConaughey) when he finds out that his mother’s life insurance policy is worth $50,000. Although Joe usually demands cash up front, he finds himself willing to bend the rules in exchange for Chris’ attractive younger sister, Dottie (Temple), who will serve as sexual collateral until the money comes in… if it ever does.

KILLER JOE is set to hit theaters in a limited capacity on July 27, 2012.

 

 

 

 

THE DICTATOR is directed by Larry Charles from a script by Sacha Baron Cohen, Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel.  The film stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, Megan Fox, John C. Reilly and J.B. Smoove.

SYNOPSIS: The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel “Zabibah and The King” by Saddam Hussein.

THE DICTATOR is set to hit theaters on May 11, 2012.

THE WATCH (formerly titled NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH) is directed by Akiva Schaffer and stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, Will Forte and Billy Crudup.

SYNOPSIS: “The Watch” is a sci-fi comedy about a suburban “neighborhood watch” group that serves as a front for dads to get some male-bonding time away from their families. The group finds itself in over its head when it uncovers a plot to destroy the world.
