As the Superbowl looms closer and closer on us, some of the commercial spots are already being leaked across the web.  One of rather great interest (to us at least) is the HomeAway.com spot which reunites Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold… complete with their classic Family Truckster.  This commercial is promoting a short film that will be featured on HomeAway.com in which the Griswolds visit their son Rusty at his beach home, and is being called Hotel Hell Vacation.  Granted, it’s not a big screen film, but with Chevy Chase seeing a bit of a comeback on NBC’s COMMUNITY, and Hollywood seeing big bucks with actors revisiting classic characters, this definitely has the potential to be something rather fun.  Check out the preview spot below.
