THE AVENGERS extended Super Bowl teaser – Loki has a drink with Tony Stark

Marvel’s THE AVENGERS is ramping up their advertising, seeing as how the movie is now three months away from release. The Joss Whedon-directed epic comic book adaptation brings together previous Marvel movie frontrunner heroes like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Captain America (Chris Evans), along with supporting (and equally cool) characters Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)… and THOR baddie Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

The new preview which played during the Super Bowl is here, and in extended form. We get our first real glimpse of new Hulk effects, a little bit of Loki chatting with Tony Stark, and plenty of action to boot. I’m loving everything I’ve seen from this so far, and hoping the final result is as satisfying as the lead-in promos. Check it out below and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
